Fayemi To Commission Over 100KM Of Roads During 3rd Anniversary

Ekiti State Commissioner for Works and Transportation, Mr. Sola Adebayo has said that over 100 kilometers of roads have been completed and will be commissioned during the third anniversary of the Fayemi led administration.

The roads include Ijero-Ipoti-Ayetoro (17km), Irele-Ponyon (11.64km), Ikole-Ijesa Isu-Ilumoba (23km), Igede-Awo-Ido (24km) as well as Ijigbo-Baptist College township road(3.62km) and Aladesanmi crescent (0.6km).

The Commissioner noted that the gesture is in line with the resolveof the present administration to make all parts of the state accessible by 2014.

He assured that all the roads are of good quality stressing that government would not compromise on delivery of durable roads by contractors.

Mr. Adebayo said Governor Kayode Fayemi will also flag-off rehabilitation of more roads in the state during the anniversary celebration in furtherance of achieving the target of making all parts of the state accessible by 2014.
