Ekiti Restates Commitment to Religious Harmoney

The Secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Dr. Ganiyu Owolabi has assured that the state Government would continue to build on the existing harmonious relationship among religious groups in the state. Dr. Owolabi gave the assurance while playing host to the National Executive Council of Ansar U-Deen -Youths Association in his office in Ado.
The State Chief Scribe who noted that Ekiti is a peaceful state, invited members of the association to take advantage of the prevalent investment- friendly climate to invest in the state.
He assured that the Ekiti State Government would continue to ensure fairness among religious groups in the state in terms of appointments thus making it possible for the state to tap from experience of its best brain irrespective of their religious background in the quest to develop the state’s economy.
Earlier in his remarks, the National Chairman of the A. U. D. Youths Association, Alhaji Abdulfatai Olorunkemi who led other members to Ekiti noted that the state has witnessed tremendous transformation since his last visit to the state four years ago. Alhaji Olorunkemi stated that the present administration in the State has also added value to the area of health education and other spheres of human endeavour since its assumption of office.
He called on members of the Association and people of the state to continually support the government in order to remain a pace-setter for other states across the nation.
