Chairman LGSC Assures LG Staff of Un-Interrupted Payment of Salaries

The Chairman of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Chief Ranti Adebisi has assured Local Government staff in the state that there would be no interruption in the payment of salaries of authentic staff of the Local Governments.
Chief Adebisi who gave this assurance at a forum in Ado Ekiti, said that the leadership of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) have been advised to work with the Local Government Caretaker Chairmen, the Director of Finance and Accounts towards achieving correct nominal roles.
The Chairman stressed the need to ensure that no worker’s name is missing in the nominal roles, emphasizing that no name that cannot be accounted for should also be in the staff seniority list.
Noting that government has paid the 2013 leave bonus of all staff of the Commission, he assured that arrangements were in top gear to pay the leave allowance of other local governments’ staff before the end of the year.
Chief Adebisi explained that in the quest to achieve a transformed service delivery commission that will effectively boost development at the grassroots, government has approved the creation of the department of Special Duties at the LGSC that will help the commission discharge its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
