Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Dapo Kolawole has advised the Directors of Finance and Accounts in all Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the State not to engage in any fraudulent act as the Fayemi – led administration has zero tolerance for corruption. Hon. Kolawole gave the advice at a meeting with the Directors in Ado.
The Commissioner urged the directors that are yet to be computer literate to do so before the end of the month of May this year for effective performance of their duties. He also instructed the Directors to ensure that the salaries of civil servants are paid by the 18th of each month as directed by the Governor. Responding, the State Accountant – General, Mr Owolabi pledged on behalf of the Directors to faithfully discharge their duties.
