Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved the appointment of Mr. Benjamin Olukayode Adewumi as the substantive General Manager of the Ekiti State Sports Council.
In a letter signed by the State Head of Service, Mr. Olubunmi Famosaya, the appointment takes immediate effect. Until his new appointment, Mr. Adewumi was the Director of Sports of the State Sports Council.
Speaking on the development, the Board Chairman of the State Sports Council, Prince Ademola Adetola commended Governor Fayemi for approving the appointment of a substantive General Manager for the Council which he said would impact positively on the development of Sports in the state.
Adetola congratulated the new G.M. and the entire workforce of the Sports Council, assuring that the Board would leave no stone unturned at developing sports in the state.
