Office of Establishment and Service Matters
The Office of Establishments and Service Matters is the secretariat of the Office of Head of Service and it is saddled with the following responsibilities:
- Processing of Transfer of Service
- Posting of centrally deployed officers
- Processing Inter – cadre Transfer
- Processing of Maternity Leave
- Processing of Change of Name
- Promotion of Junior Officers
- Preparation of Personnel Estimate for MDAs
- Civil Service week celebration
- Attendance at National Council on Establishments
- Disbursement of Land and Housing Loans to Public Servants
- Appointment of Accounting Officers for MDAs
- Celebration of Armed Forces Remembrance Day
- Industrial and Labour Relations/ Training programme for labour leaders in the State
- Negotiation of the Minimum Wage and Consequential Adjustment of salaries
- Peer Review Meeting/Meeting of Accounting Officers
- Promotion of Management Level Officers
- Conduct of Public Service Forum/interactive session
- Governor’s roundtable meeting with organized labour
- Attendance of State Delegates at the National Joint Service Negotiation Council meetings
- May Day Celebration
- Approval of vacancies
- Participation at the National Labour Advisory Council(NLAC)
- Sensitization on Performance Management System
- Conduct of Senior Management Committee meeting
- Processing of Conversion and Advancement
