Office of Establishment and Service Matters

The Office of Establishments and Service Matters is the secretariat of the Office of Head of Service and it is saddled with the following responsibilities:

  1. Processing of Transfer of Service
  2. Posting of centrally deployed officers
  3. Processing Inter – cadre Transfer
  4. Processing of Maternity Leave
  5. Processing of Change of Name
  6. Promotion of Junior Officers
  7. Preparation of Personnel Estimate for MDAs
  8. Civil Service week celebration
  9. Attendance at National Council on Establishments
  10. Disbursement of Land and Housing Loans to Public Servants
  11. Appointment of Accounting Officers for MDAs
  12. Celebration of Armed Forces  Remembrance Day
  13. Industrial and Labour Relations/ Training programme for labour leaders in the State
  14. Negotiation of the Minimum Wage and Consequential Adjustment of salaries
  15. Peer Review Meeting/Meeting of Accounting Officers
  16. Promotion of Management Level Officers
  17. Conduct of Public Service Forum/interactive session
  18. Governor’s roundtable meeting with organized labour
  19. Attendance of State Delegates at the National Joint Service Negotiation Council meetings
  20. May Day Celebration
  21. Approval of vacancies
  22. Participation at the National Labour Advisory Council(NLAC)
  23. Sensitization on Performance Management System
  24. Conduct of Senior Management Committee meeting
  25. Processing of Conversion and Advancement
