Public Works Corporation

Ekiti State Public Works Corporation was established by Law of the House of Assembly 2011, the initiative was an administrative decision aimed at minimizing the cost of road construction works for the State Government.

This specialized Corporation was set up to handle direct labour jobs for the public and all respective departments of the State Government.

To provide quality construction services with focus on timely delivery of projects while also embracing innovation for the infrastructural development of Ekiti State.

To be a trusted Department of Ekiti State, recognized for excellence, safety and sustainability in the delivery of results.

  • Engagement of relevant artisans in direct labour works through the use of government owned equipment for construction, maintenance, intervention and palliative works across the State;
  • Carrying out construction works for the Public and other interested government agencies;
  • Hiring plant and equipment to interested individuals and corporate organizations in order to generate revenue to the coffers of Ekiti State.

The Public Works Corporation is made up of the following Departments and Units:
