Five Kilometers Road in LGAs Will Create Model Communities – PMC Boss

The 5 kilometres road project embarked upon by  each of the 16 Local Governments  in the   State is part of the efforts of the present  administration to establish optimum communities that would  improve the quality of lives of the people and attract investment to all parts of the state.

The Chairman, Ekiti State Projects Monitoring Committee, Chief Ranti Adebisi made this statement while inspecting the 5 kilometer- road projects  in Ekiti South West Local  Government Area of the State.

The people of  Igbara Odo were assured by Mr. Adebisi that line drains will be provided where necessary to curb the incessant flooding whenever it rains.

The Caretaker Chairman of the Local Government,  Hon Kolawole Julius Genge said that the road project when completed will touch the lives of the people positively, he promised that his council will provide necessary support to ensure that the contractors delivers the projects on schedule.

Apostle Isaac Omotayo an Indigene of Igbara Odo,said  the road being constructed at Igbara-Odo had not been motorable for the past 10 years. He however applaud Governor Kayode Fayemi for his good initiative on the 5 kilometre road project in each Local Government Areas.
