Governor Fayemi Swears in First Set of Exco Members

Governor Kayode Fayemi has challenged the newly appointees to display their total commitment to the attainment and actualisation of four cardinal programmes of the present administration.

The Governor gave the challenge at the swearing in of four members of the state executive council held at the government house pavilion Ado Ekiti also appealed to them to see thier appointment as an opportunity to serve.

The apointees are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Wale Fapohunda, Commissioner for Finance, Mr Dapo Kolawole, Chief of staff Mr Biodun Omoleye and the SSG, Mr Biodun Oyebanji.

He reminded the appointees that the cardinal programmes of Social investment, knowledge economy,infrastructure and industrial development as well as agriculture and rural development which must be avhieved through their dedication.

Dr Fayemi further maintained that he would not compromise his promise to ensure good governance anchored on accountability and transparency.

The Governor also advised the appointees to be guided by the principles and ethics governing the conduct of thier offices and cautioned them to always put the interest of the state above other consideration.

In an interview the Chief of staff, Mr Biodun Omoleye and Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Mr Wale Fapohunda gave assurance not to dissapoint the people of the state.
