Ekiti State Hospitals’ Management Board (HMB) has conducted the 2011 Jan/June promotion examination for all cadres of workers from grade level 6 upwards in the service of the board.
A statement from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Board, Dr. Kolawole Aina stated that the promotion examination exercise cuts across Medical, Paramedical as well as Administrative Workers in line with the State Government Policy on promotion of workers in the state.
The statement added that the examination was not to witch-hunt staff but to place each officer in their rightful position and ensure that they have good knowledge of their jobs.
It added that the examination would continue to allow other officers who are due for promotion to benefit. The statement also enjoined staff to be diligent in all other official assignments.
About two hundred members of state participated in the promotion examination.
