REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS TENABLE IN NIGERIAN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

  • SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    1. Applicants must be Senior Secondary School Students in the State
    2. Applicants must excel in the JSS 3 examination, and the Competitive Scholarship Award Examination, which will be coordinated and supervised by the Board, and Exams and Record Department of the Ministry of Education, Science and technology
  • PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    1. Applicants must be bona fide students of tertiary institutions
    2. Applicants are awarded automatic scholarship
  • NCE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    • This award is open to students in the 2' year of the NCE programme and candidates must have a minimum of 3.5 CGPA score, which is equivalent to upper credit in the previous examinations.
  • HND SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    • All applicants must have a minimum of 3.5 CGPA, which is equivalent to upper credit in the previous examinations.
  • HEALTH & MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    • Health Technology and School of Nursing CGPA scores are not applicable to Health and Medical related courses
  • UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    • All applicants for Undergraduate Scholarship must be in 2nd year or above, and must have at least 4.0 CGPA score in the previous examination.
  • POSTGRADUATES SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
    1. All applicants in Nigerian institutions are eligible for this award
    2. All applicants for postgraduate scholarship should have at least 2nd Class Upper Division at first degree or upper credit at HND level
    3. Any applicant for Ph.D scholarship Award should posses a first degree certificate, not less than Second Class (Upper Division) and a grade of Distinction in Master's degree with a letter of recommendation from the University is eligible
